Troubleshooting
Notifications not arriving, can’t reach Standby, and other fixes.
Notifications aren't arriving
- Settings → Devices: This phone should say Enrolled. If not, tap Enroll this phone.
- The Notifications card should say On. If not, tap Turn on notifications or Open Android settings.
- Let Urgent incidents override Do Not Disturb, and set Standby's battery use to Unrestricted. See Notifications.
- Check with your admin that your mobile number is set, so Standby can call you if a notification doesn't get through.
"Can't reach Standby"
Standby shows nothing rather than out-of-date information. Check your connection. Paging doesn't depend on the app: if a rule fires, Standby still calls your phone, and any change you made still undoes itself on time.
"This phone cannot approve actions yet"
Enroll it under Settings → Devices. If you've changed your fingerprints or face unlock, or reinstalled the app, enroll again.
A change hasn't taken effect
Amazon Connect takes up to a minute to pick up a queue change, in either direction.
Wrong workspace
On the sign-in screen, tap change next to the workspace code.
Still stuck?
Ask your Standby admin first; they can see who is reachable under On-call → People. Then email hello@contact-iq.com, with the build details from the bottom of Devices.
